Mizuno

Sneakers from the Mizuno brand

In 1906, the Japanese sports company Mizuno Corporation was founded in Osaka, by Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizo. It sold products of interest in the Western market, such as golf and baseball products. From 1911, Mizuno produced its own custom-made items. This went very well and soon several branches were opened. Soon the brand was known as one of the largest sports manufacturers in the world. They currently produce items for football, athletics and volleyball, among others. In the Netherlands, the focus is mainly on golf, volleyball, korfball, athletics and football. Besides sports items, Mizuno now also has lifestyle trainers, such as the Mizuno Sky Medal, Wave Ride 10 models, Wave Rider Beta, Contender and Sky Medal Beta.

Every season, you'll find a diverse range of Mizuno trainers at Sunika, including the popular Sky Medal, Wave Ride 10 and Contender models. Meanwhile, Mizuno has added the Wave Rider Beta and Sky medal Beta models to its range. The models feature Wave technology that provides the ultimate balance between cushioning and stability. The trainer consists of several sub-sections. The 'Parallel Wave' runs from heel to toe and distributes shock across the entire shoe platform. The 'Infinity Wave' equips the trainer with two parallel plates between soft cushioning pillars for cushioning and durability. Specially designed for overpronation, the 'Fan-Shaped Wave' supports the runner's natural gait pattern and allows the ankle to move in the correct position.

Sustainable vision from Mizuno

Mizuno believes in a sustainable future where there is equal living and a healthy and safe environment in the world. This includes sport, which they will continue to work towards. Mizuno wants to create a beneficial future where sport can be enjoyed by all.
